Concerts & Recitals

Andrew has played the organ in many churches around the country including the South West of England and Yorkshire. He has a wide repertoire of music that can be woven into a special recital or concert. Andrew has also composed numerous organ pieces and feels privileged to play some of these during the concert or recital. He thoroughly enjoys playing for an audience and experiencing their reactions to music.

A mix of music and anecdotes as well as some audience participation make Andrew´s concerts and recitals unique.

Circuit Big Sing
In 2016 and again in 2017, Andrew was invited by Bridlington Methodist Circuit to organise and lead an evening of singing and celebrating hymns old and new. Andrew, through his unique and enthusiastic style, led the congregation in enjoying old favourites and learning many new hymns and worship songs from Singing the Faith. We all thoroughly enjoyed your organ recital here at Sewerby. Everyone has commented on it and how lovely it was to hear the organ played so beautifully – or indeed as it should be played! The programme was so varied and well put together. The whole evening was such a joy.
Sewerby Methodist Church
An interesting and varied programme performed on the magnificent organ and Andrew gave us interesting facts and anecdotes about the music.
The organ music was moving and uplifting. A very enjoyable lunchtime organ concert at St John’s Burlington Methodist Church, Bridlington.
